Opening of Mama Kay’s restaurant in Saginaw with a “homemade and affordable” menu
SAGINAW, MI – A new restaurant promising “home cooked meals” at affordable prices will soon be opening in Saginaw.
Company owner India Collins plans to open Mama Kay’s restaurant for take-out service on Monday, November 1. It is located at 2805 Perkins St. in Saginaw, near the Township of Buena Vista.
Collins said the menu will include “home cooked meals,” including lamb chop dinners, fish dinners and chicken dinners. It will also serve breakfast.
“There is a mixture of everything,” she says. “And we have an affordable menu.”
Mama Kay’s joins a growing list of recent restaurant openings in the Saginaw area, including Tia’s Soul in Buena Vista Township and Kreole Queenz at SVRC Marketplace in downtown Saginaw.
Mama Kay’s restaurant will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. At first, the restaurant will only open for take out. Collins plans to add a catering service later.
