Official opening of the new Columbia restaurant, SC Krab Kingz


Krab Kingz seafood restaurant will open April 21 at 1410 Colonial Life Blvd., suite 150.

There’s a new seafood spot with bunches of crab, shrimp and grits, okra and more heading to Columbia.

According to a press release from the City of Columbia, Krab Kingz Seafood Restaurant will open at 11 a.m. on April 21 at 1410 Colonial Life Blvd., Suite 150. It is in the Colonial Village Mall which also includes The Restaurant Melting Pot, a US Senator Lindsey Graham campaign office and other storefronts. The location is less than half a mile from the Dutch Square shopping center on nearby Bush River Road.

Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann and other city officials will be at the grand opening celebration, along with representatives from the Columbia Chamber and restaurant owners Delane Garner and David Sambrone-Darkins, according to the statement.

Krab Kingz will offer a full list of seafood dishes, according to a menu on the restaurant’s website. Options will include po’ boy sandwiches; grilled salmon burgers; Cajun okra; shrimp platters; seafood boils including crab sticks, sausages, corn and potatoes; Shrimp pasta; Shrimps and Grits; fried catfish and more.

The place will also have a number of buttery flavors to go with seafood confections, including Original, Lemon Pepper, Honey Garlic, Cajun, Caribbean Jerk, Hot Buffalo and the spicy.
