McDonald’s Australia to stop serving breakfast menu all day
Macca’s predicted that there would be “disappointed” customers after making a huge change to his breakfast schedule and it was right.
McDonald’s Australia has quietly withdrawn its popular all-day breakfast menu, meaning customers can no longer grab breakfast items when they want.
Instead, the fast food chain will only serve its breakfast items from 4 a.m. to noon in its restaurants.
“Starting Wednesday, October 20, our breakfast menu will be available until noon in restaurants and 10:30 am via McDelivery, to better meet customer needs during other peak hours,” he said. in a press release. news.com.au.
The all-day breakfast menu was first introduced in 2015, becoming an instant hit, but in its efforts to speed up wait times during the afternoon and evening peaks, the menu has been limited to before noon.

“While we understand that a number of customers will be disappointed, our breakfast menu will continue to be available in the restaurant until noon daily and via McDelivery until 10:30 am.”

The only breakfast items that guests can still get their hands on all day are hash browns. Macca’s also confirmed that this controversial decision had nothing to do with the Covid-19 pandemic.
